The ByteWorx GmbH - the company specialized in internet-based financial information, headquartered in Munich - has carried out the replacement of the end-user stock market portal kurse.hypovereinsbank.de, implemented in 2008, at HypoVereinsbank AG. In cooperation with Interactive Data Managed Solutions AG, the relaunch was completed from the first concept idea to the final acceptance, and the new version went online at the end of January 2014.

The second major area, which was relaunched by ByteWorx, was the intranet stock market portal, which is available to more than 7,000 customer advisors at HypoVereinsbank. The customer consultants have a further available analyze, which is even more extensive compared to the end customer version. Customers and consultants can print out their evaluations and results using a PDF print function and archive them permanently. An individual comparison to the rights and needs of the customer advisors takes place in the background.

More and more people are discovering the return-oriented securities investment again and are increasingly dependent on the support of their bank in times like these, where interest rates are barely left to the purchasing power. The central goal of the new website was that customers really find the papers from the more than 1.3 million traded securities at HypoVereinsbank that match their goals and wishes.

Managing Director Uwe Franke expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the project team involved. „As always, our teams can solve particularly demanding tasks in heterogeneous system environments with multiple project parties and under time pressure. Our developers have now special expertise in the field of financial information and go routinely even the biggest challenges. The first weeks of the online set-up have now passed and we are already fully focused on new tasks “.

HypoVereinsbank has placed special emphasis on the graphic representation of data with a regional reference. At first glance, it is now possible to see markets that have surpassed and underperformed. The color scheme used can direct conclusions about the performance and about or on hover over the countries. Regions, the precise market and performance data are displayed. When changing the viewing period, the colors are adapted accordingly and customers can comfortably explore the markets for pro or anticyclical aspects.

The redesigned Instrument Search enables a professional research, which is available to all interested parties - including non-customers. The analysis can, of course, take place according to countries, sectors and a free search text. Newly added are numerous search variables that, according to ByteWorx CEO Uwe Franke, set new standards in the securities analysis in the B2C. It is now also possible for small investors to carry out a detailed search for securities via settings on the performance, the dividend yield, the price gain ratio, the volatility, the cash flow per share, and more. But that's not all, because the variables can be further fine-tuned with a corridor (minimum and maximum).

In addition to the stock level, the areas funds, structured products, bonds, leveraged products, futures, commodities and currencies have been revised. The search functions of the various products differ in specific requirements. For example, Certificates are filtered by currency hedging (Quanto) or bonds for their potential total return.
